THE PROGRAM:
Come learn the basic components to language and how they work within American Sign Language. Dr. Byron Bridges (a Deaf native born into a large Deaf family) takes you through the building blocks of his specialty, language.
Dr. Byron Bridges will discuss Phonology, ASL Parameters, morphology, compounds, idioms, classifiers (Depicting Verbs), temporal aspects, Subject - Object Agreements, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, variation, non manual signals, iconic and arbitrary signs. This program is designed for those who want to expand their knowledge about the linguistic aspects of ASL.

Once you do, you will be emailed a link to download a document which contains a link to the online quiz. (this email is instant so check your spam if you did not receive it)
There are nine questions for you to answer. You must answer 6 questions correctly to pass. (you have unlimited tries at no additional cost). Once you have completed the exam there will be a link where you will enter your RID member number.
Within a few days you will receive an email with your certificate of completion and RID CEUs will be submitted shortly thereafter.
